  1. […] Along with Lillian Diaz-Przybyl (formerly of TOKYOPOP) and Jill Astley, Sleep is for the Weak has opened a publishing house: Chromatic Press. NotHayama (Rebecca Scoble) and I are the head editors of audio and prose, respectively, Amethist is a designer, and Bad Jew is a consultant. We just announced our first comic: the completion and re-release of Jen Quick’s Off*Beat. […]

Holy crap! I randomly check sleep is for the weak and find an awesome update! I love you guys and can’t wait to see what happens next

    • That’s very sweet of you. I apologize on behalf of Sleep is for the Weak for never finding a decent update schedule at that place. *sigh*

We love you, too, person on the Internet.

I absolutely love you guys and gals for this. Truly I do.

I have been dying to read the finale of Off*Beat ever since I saw it in Borders. I have vols. 1-2 but now I’m wondering if it’ll be worthwhile to repurchase the new CP versions? In any case, I am SO buying vol. 3

    • We love you, too. <3

The new Chromatic Press editions of Vols 1-2 have new covers, some text revisions, and new bonus material in the back; if you order through us, each volume also comes with a different Off*Beat bookmark. You can see a photo of the package here (minus the buttons, which came with the Kickstarter package specifically):

They’ll be going on sale through this website in the next week or so. Whether or not you want to repurchase two graphic novels you already own is a personal decision, obviously. But we think our re-release came out pretty cool. XD (Note: We’re biased.)

Volume 3 will start serialization in about a month. Not long now!
