Chromatic Press is a new, independent publisher of original comics, prose, and audio dramas in English for women and men across the globe. Based on a digital version of the “manga magazine” format used to publish comics in Japan, Chromatic titles will be serialized in the online, multimedia magazine Sparkler Monthly starting in the summer of 2013.
Chromatic is currently reviewing original pitches from a variety of international creators. If you’re interested in pitching a creative project to Sparkler Monthly, please see this post for details. Note: Our first comic has been announced: Chromatic Press will complete and reprint Off*Beat by Jen Lee Quick, formerly published by TOKYOPOP, Inc.
Tokyo Demons, an illustrated prose serial with accompanying dramatized audio book, is currently being created and distributed as the first project in Chromatic fiction. The independent site for Tokyo Demons can be found at http://www.tokyodemons.com. For reviewers interested in a free ebook review copy of Book 1, please contact store@tokyodemons.com.
